NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware authorities say the search for a probationer with several outstanding warrants turned up drugs, guns and 17 dangerous reptiles in a filthy New Castle County apartment.

New Castle County police arrested 25-five-year-old Jennifer Chadwick, 32-year-old Antonio Graves and 28-year-old Jerimiah Feaster on Friday. All three were charged with drug and firearm offenses, as well as endangering a 3-year-old found in the apartment.

Authorities also removed 16 monitor lizards, including some that were 6 feet long, and a boa constrictor from the apartment. The lizards, which are not legal to own, were described by Brandywine Zoo staff as extremely dangerous, especially around children.

The apartment was condemned and deemed unfit for human habitation by county officials.

The Kent County SPCA took the lizards to a reptile rescue in New Jersey.
