Dollar General Robbed in Pittsville

PITTSVILLE, Md.- Detectives with the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation are looking for a suspect wanted for holding up the Dollar General store in Pittsville late Sunday night. 

The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at the store, located at 7260 Sixty Foot Road. According to investigators, an unknown suspect armed with a handgun entered the Dollar General and demanded money from the employees. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

There were no reported injuries. 

The suspect was described as wearing a black mask, a black hooded jacket, black gloves, black shoes with white soles, blue jeans and armed with a black/silver pistol. 

The suspect's vehicle was described as a dark Dodge Charger with Maryland registration, War of 1812 tag containing the number "8."
