WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say robbed two people at a casino parking lot.
Troopers say about 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a man was walking through the parking lot at the Delaware Park Racetrack and Casino in Wilmington. Police say the man was knocked down from behind and the attacker demanded money.
Authorities say the victim gave the suspect cash, and the suspect ran away. Troopers say the victim suffered minor injuries.
Police say about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, a man was walking in the same parking lot when he was knocked down from behind. Authorities say the suspect took the victim's wallet and fled. The victim was taken to a hospital.
Detectives arrested a suspect on Wednesday.
Twenty-two-year-old Charles Jones of Newark has been charged with robbery.
