Two Juveniles Charged With Armed Robbery in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Two juveniles are awaiting disciplinary action by Juvenile Services after being charged with armed robbery of a third juvenile.

Cambridge Police responded to the reported robbery shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue in Cambridge.

The victim told responding officers that several subjects had approached him demanding money and began to assault him when he told them he did not have any, police said. The victim also told officers one of the subjects had a BB gun that he used to strike him over the head, resulting in minor injuries.

Upon further investigation, police say they identified and arrested two juvenile suspects.

Both are charged with armed robbery, robbery, first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

    Salisbury Bypass Detour to Reopen Thursday

    The State Highway Administration estimates the Salisbury Bypass detour will reopen on Thursday. 

    The construction to the bridge over US 13 is scheduled to finish this week and will allow traffic to head southbound on the bypass. 

    The detour's closure will also allow SHA to remove the temporary traffic signals on Naylor Mill Road.
