Salisbury Police Search for Suspects in Home Invasion, Robbery

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury Police Department is searching for three suspects in a home invasion and robbery that happened early Tuesday morning.


Police say just after 5 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 400 block of Patterson Avenue for a report of a home invasion and robbery. Police say their investigating revealed that three men had forced their way into the home, one of which allegedly was armed with a handgun. Police say the men demanded money from the residents inside the home, who then turned over an undisclosed amount of money. Police say the three men then took off on foot in an unknown direction. 


No injuries were reported according to police. 


Police say all three suspects were described as black men between the ages of 17 and 22 years of age, between 5'8" and 5'7" tall and last seen wearing all black clothing. Police say all three men had their faces covered during the incident. 


Anyone with information on these suspects or the incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department or Crime Solvers (410) 548-1776 and you may remain anonymous. Crime Solvers will pay up to $1000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects involved in this investigation.

    Salisbury Bypass Detour to Reopen Thursday

    The State Highway Administration estimates the Salisbury Bypass detour will reopen on Thursday. 

    The construction to the bridge over US 13 is scheduled to finish this week and will allow traffic to head southbound on the bypass. 

    The detour's closure will also allow SHA to remove the temporary traffic signals on Naylor Mill Road.
