Update:

DOVER, Del. (WBOC)- Dover police have arrested two people in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of Pine Grove Apartments on Webbs Lane.

According to police, officers found DaShawn Friend, 19, shot multiple times. He was declared dead at the scene and Friend's death was ruled a homicide.

Police say they pursued multiple leads throughout the rest of the day Thursday. On Friday, they announced the arrests of Fchante Robertson, 27, and James White, 30, both of Dover.

Robertson was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of firearm by person prohibited, possession of ammunition by person prohibited, and resisting arrest.

White was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, possession of firearm by person prohibited, and possession of ammunition by person prohibited.

Bond information was unavaiable for both suspects.

DOVER, Del.– Dover police are continuing to search for a suspect in connection with a Thursday morning fatal shooting.

It happened in the Pine Grove Apartment complex on Webbs Lane at 9:42 a.m.

Shonda Miller was part of group watching the scene as police investigated. She had gotten a call about the shooting.

"My first thing is I'm going to my kids' school to see if they're OK," she said. "I went to the school. They wouldn't let me in, because they were on lockdown."

W. Reily Brown Elementary School was temporarily on lockdown. That lockdown was lifted after police said they were certain the suspect is no longer in the area.

According to the Caesar Rodney School District Facebook page, Star Hill Elementary School was locked down briefly after a possible sighting of a suspect in the shooting nearby.

Dover Police, with assistance of Delaware State Police, continue to search for that suspect.

With a suspect still on the loose, Miller worries about her kids' safety.

"Right now they're not safe, because we don't know what's going on. We don't know if they're going to come back tonight or whatever."

"I'm not safe there!" shouted a man who lives at Pine Grove Apartments. WBOC spoke with complex management, but they had no comment.

There is no word yet on the identities of either the suspect or victim.
