JESSUP, Md.- The Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education announced that the Somerset Intermediate School has been certified as a Maryland Green School.
Officials said that over the past two years, the school has demonstrated a continuous effort to integrate sustainable environmental management practices, education curriculum, professional development opportunities and community engagement through their daily operations.
