EASTON, Md.- An Easton man is facing burglary and arson charges in connection to an incident that happened back in October, police said Monday.

Easton police said 22-year-old Ricky D. Ford II was taken into custody Saturday on an arrest warrant charging him with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary, first-degree arson, first-degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of property over $1,000 and theft less than $1,000.

Police said Ford is accused of breaking into a home on Oct. 31, 2014, on the 29000 block of Corbin Parkway and setting a fire in the bathtub.  Police said an officer had responded to the home to investigate an incident where some people had been removed from the premises and found the burglary and fire. Damage to the home was estimated at more than $6,353, according to police.

Ford was ordered held in the Talbot County Detention Center on $60,000 bond, police said.
