Dover Police Investigate Shooting

DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting in the Dover East Estates Mobile Home Development in the 1000 block of South Little Creek Road on Monday night.  

According to police, at approximately 9:10 p.m., the 27-year-old victim said he observed an unknown vehicle driving at a slow rate of speed past his home. Police say when the victim saw the rear driver window roll down, he began to flee.  Police say the suspect fired approximately 4-5 shots, striking the victim in the left arm once.  The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he underwent surgery and is now in "stable condition."  

Police say there is no information on the suspect, and call the victims cooperation "minimal."
