Dover Police: Crack Cocaine Found in Homeless Fugitive's Vehicle

DOVER, Del.– Dover police say a homeless fugitive is behind bars after officers found him in possession of crack cocaine.

Police said that shortly after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, 1.6 grams of crack cocaine was located in 25-year-old Robert Young's vehicle during a traffic stop in the area of South State Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Police said that during the stop, Young gave officers a false name. Officers also learned Young had active warrants from Delaware State Police, the Frederica Police Department and one out of Pennsylvania.

Young was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and being an out-of-state fugitive.

Young was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $9,266 secured bond.
