WILMINGTON, Del.- The Delaware Department of Corrections is searching for a work release offender accused of leaving a Wilmington correctional facility without permission.

Offender Frank Pope is serving a one-year sentence of level-four work release at the Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington following a prison term for a weapons possession conviction.

Officials said Pope failed to be accounted for during a routine offender account on Sunday, and was not located after a search of the facility.

He was last seen on May 24. He is described as a 24-year-old black male with brown eyes, and black hair. He is 5-foot-11, 165 pounds. His last-known address is Middletown, Del.

Anyone with information on Pope is asked to call (800) 542-9524, or their local police department.
