State Trooper Charged With Off-duty Sex Offense

Posted:

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County Police say a state trooper has been charged with forcing a woman to engage in a sex act at gunpoint.

Officers say 43-year-old Brian Tucker of Fort Washington was arrested Monday in Capitol Heights. Authorities say a county officer saw Tucker and a woman outside an SUV.

Police say the woman said Tucker had a gun, and Tucker identified himself as a Maryland state trooper.

Authorities say Tucker and the woman had agreed to engage in a sex act for money. County police say Tucker forced the woman to engage in another sex act at gunpoint.

Police say Tucker was off duty; the gun wasn't his service weapon.

Tucker is charged with a sex offense and a handgun violation. State Police say he is suspended without pay.
