Two Arrested in Harrington Shooting


HARRINGTON, Del.- Two men are behind bars following a shooting that happened last month in Harrington.

Harrington police said 19-year-old Elijah Derir, of Seaford, and 17-year-old LaQuan Johnson, of Harrington, face charged connected to a June 28 shooting that occurred at a home on the 100 block of East Street. According to police, six people suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police said Johnson is charged with inciting a riot, reckless endangering and weapons charges. Desire is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and assault. 

Both men were ordered held in default of bond, police said.
