BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police say four people were injured Thursday in a two-car crash on Seashore Highway in Bridgeville.

Police said the accident happened around 10:20 a.m. as John Kosco, 32, of Frankford, was operating a 1996 Jeep Cherokee westbound on Seashore Highway (SR18/404) just west of Wilson Hill Road. Troopers said that meantime, Kadeem J. Hill, 25, of Bridgeville, was operating a 2006 Ford Taurus westbound on SR404 directly behind the Jeep. Police said that as the Jeep was coming to a stop for road construction work being conducted in the area, Hill failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the Jeep, causing it flip end over end and come to a stop upright on its wheels.

Kosco and his two sons, ages 6 and 8, were all properly restrained and transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital by EMS where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

Police said Hill was properly restrained and was flown by State Police Aviation (Trooper 2) to Christiana Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing and charges may be forthcoming, police said.

Seashore Highway between Wilson Hill and Coverdale roads was closed for approximately two and a half hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.
