Developer, Brother of Infamous Delaware Killer, Dies at 62

DOVER, Del. (AP)- Wilmington-area developer Joseph M. Capano, whose family was embroiled in the notorious killing of a governor's secretary by his brother Thomas, has died.
Brother-in-law Lee Ramunno said Capano died of an apparent heart attack at his home Monday. He was 62.
Capano was one of four sons of the late developer Louis Capano.
Tom, the oldest brother, died in prison in 2011 while serving a life sentence for the 1996 murder of 30-year-old Anne Marie Fahey, scheduling aide to Gov. Tom Carper. Fahey was killed after ending an affair with Capano, a politically connected lawyer who once served as legal counsel to Gov. Mike Castle.
Joseph was not charged in the case, but his two other brothers, Louis Jr. and Gerard, pleaded guilty to assisting Tom Capano after the murder.
