Two Injured After Personal Watercraft Accident in Worcester County

ASSATEAGUE ISLAND, Md.- Two people had to be rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning following a personal watercraft accident near Assateague State Park in Worcester County.

Assateague State Park officials said the incident happened shortly before 10 a.m. Officials said a group of personal watercraft was on a guided tour when two of them collided. The two people injured in the crash were a father and daughter, according to officials, who said the father was in "worse shape" than his daughter. 

While the extent of their injuries are not yet known, both victims have been taken to the hospital. More details were expected to be released later.
