Man Arrested on Drug, Weapon Charges After Fight in Dover Restaurant

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say a man is facing drug and weapon charges following a weekend fight at a restaurant.

According to police, at around 2:24 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a call of someone fighting at the Hollywood Diner. Police said dispatchers advised that a gold Buick had just driven away from the diner after an individual displayed a handgun. 

Police said officers were able to locate the Buick and conduct a traffic stop. During the stop, police said officers discovered a 9mm handgun and heroin belonging to Lewis Cobb, 34, of Dover. 

Cobb was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cobb was released on an unsecured bond.
