LAUREL, Del. – Laurel police say a 17-year-old female and a 23-year-old male from Seaford are facing multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop.

According to police, officers on Monday conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by the 17-year-old female, and discovered that she did not possess a valid license. Police said the passenger of the vehicle, Deandre Hall, gave two different names to officers because he already had active warrants on file for his arrest.

During the investigation, police said they discovered that the 17-year-old female had 2 grams of marijuana, 24 bags of heroin and a Subozone film, which she did not have a prescription for.

Police said the teenager was already out on bond for previous drug related charges. She was arraigned by JP Court and released with an unsecured bond to her guardian, according to police. Hall was arraigned by JP Court and committed to SCI in default of a secured bond.

Both suspects were charged with criminal impersonation, possession of heroin, hindering prosecution, possession of marijuana, possession of a prescription medication without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic charges.
