Police say the driver of the HHR was treated for minor injuries and released.  However, her 12-year-old daughter, who was a front seat passenger suffered multiple bone fractures and internal injuries.  She was flown from Kent General Hospital to AI Dupont Children's Hospital in critical condition.  Two rear passengers were also transported to AI Dupont Children's Hospital from Kent General Hospital.  A six-year-old male who seated in the right passenger side seat suffered multiple bone fractures and a severe laceration to his head and face and is currently listed in critical condition.  A 3-year-old who was seated in the rear driver side seat suffered minor injuries from the collision but was transported to AI Dupont Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

According to officials, the southbound lanes of Route 13 and Eastbound lanes of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd were shut down from 3:11PM until approximately 6:30 as investigators remained on scene to investigate the accident.  It was learned during the investigation that the motorcycle was reported stolen from Fairfax County, Virginia.  At this time no charges have been filed as the case is still under investigation.
