Six Arrested After Large Fight in Dover Neighborhood

DOVER, Del.– Dover police say officers arrested six people Saturday night after a large fight that occurred in the Manchester Square neighborhood.

According to police, more than 50 people were involved in the fight. Police said as officers attempted to break up the fighting, a large crowd gathered becoming disorderly and hostile. Officers from the Cheswold, Camden, Smyrna departments, as well as Delaware State Police, responded to assist in managing and dispersing the crowd, which police described as "unruly."

As a result of the incident, a 16 and 17-year-old juvenile were charged with riot, offensive touching on police officer and loitering.

Keon Cornish, 21, of Dover, was charged with riot, resisting arrest, offensive touching and loitering. Cornish was committed with no bail due to a previous charge.

Eric Stewart, 23, of Dover, was charged with riot, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering. Stewart was ordered held on $2,501 bond unsecured.

Lewis Harrell, 24, of Dover, is charged with riot, offensive touching and loitering. He was ordered held on $1,800 unsecured bond.

Antwon Peace, 18, of Dover is charged with riot, offensive touching, loitering, resisting arrest, menacing and criminal mischief. He was ordered held on $3,300 unsecured bond.
