Police Investigate Two-Vehicle Crash in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City Police say they have cleared the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the area of 123rd Street Saturday afternoon.

The crash, involving two vehicles, happened just after 12:15 p.m. Saturday and closed multiple lanes, including the bus lane.

As of 12:45 p.m., officials at the Ocean City Police Department say the bus lane was reopened and a tow truck was in the process of taking away one vehicle.

No official word of injuries was reported, but officials at the police department tell WBOC that there was no request for an ambulance or EMS personnel.

Police are reminding drivers, as Ocean City becomes extra crowded for the holiday weekend, to be aware of pedestrians, and do not tailgate.

No cause of the crash has been released.
