Delmarva Power Issues Peak Savings Day

Posted:

SALISBURY, Md.- Because of high temperatures predicted for Wednesday, Delmarva Power is issuing a Peak Savings Day.

The power company said customers will receive $1.25 off their bill for every kilowatt hour of reduced energy use.

Delmarva Power officials said Peak Savings day will happen between 2 and 6 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The electric company said some ways Delmarva Power customers can conserve energy include using electric fans instead of air conditioning units, keeping all blinds and curtains closed and waiting until evening to use high-energy appliances.
