Salisbury Man Convicted of Murder by Dorchester Jury

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- A Salisbury man has been convicted in the murder of a Magnolia, Del. man reported missing in August 2014.

On Wednesday, a Dorchester County jury convicted Deshaune Darling of first-degree murder, kidnapping and related offenses in the death of 40-year-old Radames Guzman. Judge Brett W. Wilson presided over the case and deferred sentencing until December. 

The victim, Radames Guzman, was reported missing by his family in August 2014. According to the office of the Dorchester County State's Attorney, Guzman's body was found in the Linkwood area of Dorchester County approximately three weeks later. Maryland State Police Homicide Unit investigators, along with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, conducted the investigation. 

Darling was also arrested following a police pursuit through Wicomico County in September 2014.
