Man Hospitalized After Easton Stabbing

EASTON, Md.– The Easton Police Department is searching for a suspect or suspects wanted in connection with a stabbing that sent a 20-year-old Easton man to the hospital.

According to police, at approximately 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to Shore Health-Memorial Hospital in reference to a man who had been stabbed. Police said Alvin Babes Jr., 20, of Easton, suffered a laceration to his chest and back. He was later flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

Officials said further investigation revealed that a fight occurred in the area of South Higgins and South East streets in Easton minutes prior to officers being dispatched. Police searched the area and discovered blood on the ground.
