Multiple-Vehicle Accident Closes Part of Rt. 13 Business in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Emergency crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Route 13 Business near downtown Salisbury.

Chopper 16 flew over the scene around 5 p.m. Thursday and saw multiple vehicles involved. The accident is on Route 13 near Carroll Street in downtown Salisbury. The northbound lanes between Carol and Main Streets are closed while crews clean up the area. Chopper 16 witnessed crews spreading sand over the northbound lanes in order to clean up some type of spill.

No word yet on any injuries, or exactly how many vehicles were involved.
