Washington D.C. Man Charged in String of Easton Vehicle Break-ins

EASTON, Md. – A Washington, D.C., man is behind bars in Montgomery County, Md., after police say he broke into several vehicles in the Easton area over the course of three months and stole items from them.

According to the Easton Police Department, between Dec. 23, 2014, and March 12 of this year, 26-year-old Sean Daniel Johnson would come to Easton from Washington, D.C., and identify locations where numerous cars were parked. Officers say Johnson would target vehicles that had purses, wallets and electronics in plain view, make entry into those vehicles and then steal debit and credit cards, which he used to purchase gaming stations.

As a reminder, the Easton Police Department says citizens should keep their vehicles locked and not leave any valuables in plain sight.
