DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC) - Dover Police arrested a man wanted for a robbery after a brief foot chase.

Officers who were trying to serve a warrant on 19-year-old Lewis Foreman of Dover early Monday ran after him when he saw them and fled. He was quickly arrested.

Police say they found 43 grams of marijuana on Foreman when they arrested him.

Authorities say Foreman was wanted for his alleged role in a June 20th robbery in which two people were assaulted in the area of North Governors Avenue and Fulton Street. He was charged with robbery, possession of firearm during commission of felony and other offenses.

Foreman was to be arraigned Monday afternoon, after which he would also be charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, and resisting arrest.
