SALISBURY, Md. — Heavy bicycle traffic is expected during Salisbury University’s 27th Sea Gull Century.

More than 6,000 cyclists are expected to be traveling near Route 13 from 6-9 a.m. Saturday. South Division Street, between College Avenue and Milford Street, will only be open to event parking during that time. Bateman Street will also be closed to all vehicles throughout the day.

Riders will pass through Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties, including the towns of Berlin, Pocomoke City, Princess Anne and Snow Hill.

Post-ride festivities are near Salisbury University’s Perdue and Henson halls, causing bicycle traffic to be heavy from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
