Dover Police Arrest Burglary Suspect

DOVER, Del.- Dover Police arrested a suspect in connection with a residential burglary.

Police say the resident returned home just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon to find the suspect on the 2nd floor of his residence.  

According to police, 35-year-old Terrence Johnson had removed a window air conditioning unit in an attempt to steal it as well as a laptop computer.  

Police say Johnson fled from the home on foot but was later arrested by Dover Police without incident.

Johnson was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Attempted Theft Under $1,500 and committed to JTVCC on $5,500 secured bond.
