QUEENSTOWN, Md. - The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is searching for four men they say switched a $1,000 diamond bracelet with a fake one at a jewelry store at the Queenstown Premium Outlets.

Authorities say on Saturday, four men entered Kay Jewelers in Queenstown, and two of them inquired about a $1,000 diamond tennis bracelet while the other two went elsewhere in the store occupying other sales clerks. Deputies say one of the suspects asked the clerk to see the bracelet closer, and then he showed it to one of the other men. Deputies say at that time, one of the men switched the bracelet with a fake one, placing the fake one on the counter. The four men then left the store with the original bracelet.

All four men were described as African-American males. One of the suspects was described as an older light-skinned African American, with a goatee and yellowing fingernails. He was also over 6 feet tall and had a thin build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Scott Hogan at (410) 758-0770 extension 1242 or by email at shogan@qac.org.

Proposed Roundabout for Wicomico County Intersection

There is a intersection in Salisbury off Route 50 that has several roads leading into it and 12 traffic lights regulating it.

Mount Hermon Road, Long Avenue, Truitt Street, East Williams Street, and Main Street all intersect at one central location.

People in the community have mixed feelings about the intersection. Some say it should be left alone because it regulates traffic just fine while others say it is a nuisance.
