PITTSVILLE, Md.- A Pittsville woman is arrested after deputies say she stole a vehicle and was caught with heroin.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said it happened Saturday, Oct. 10, at 3:38 p.m. in the 6000 block of Sixty Foot Road.

Deputies said they responded to a residence for a reported theft.

According to the sheriff's office, a deputy learned that 23-year-old Kimberly Worley stole a family member's vehicle.

Deputies said they located Worley and the vehicle a short time later and arrested the 23-year-old.

Following the arrest, the sheriff's office said the deputy discovered Worley had heroin hidden in her purse.

Deputies said Worley was transported to the Central Booking Unit, where she was processed and taken in front of the district court commissioner.

The sheriff's office said following an initial appearance, the commissioner detained Worley in the detention center in lieu of $3,000 bond.

According to deputies, Worley was charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
