Teenager Killed in Accomack County Shooting

KELLER, Va.- A 13-year-old boy is dead after a shooting in Keller Friday morning.

Accomack County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene on Keller Pond Road just before 11 a.m. on Oct. 16.

Upon arrival, deputies found the 13-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. The teen was taken to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

During the investigation, deputies learned there was a fight between the 13-year-old and 23-year-old Nicholas Martinez White. Officials say the teenager was shot during the altercation.

Police arrested White and he is being held in the Accomack County Jail without bond.

White is facing charges for Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Murder.
