Police Search for Two Suspects in Macy's Robbery

DOVER, Del. – Dover police say officers are searching for two suspects who got away with stolen merchandise from Macy’s after one of them punched an employee.

According to police, the two men attempted to leave Macy’s with stolen merchandise shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday. Authorities said when the loss prevention employee attempted to stop them, one of the men punched the employee, causing minor injuries. Police said the suspects then left the store with the merchandise.

The suspect who struck the employee was pictured in surveillance video, police said. The other suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, wearing a black and white jacket.

The Dover Police Department is continuing the investigation and asks anyone with information to call 302-736-7111.
