Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Police are looking for three suspects wanted for robbing a pizza delivery driver late Saturday night in Dover. 

Dover police said the incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m., when the female driver was delivering food to a home on the 200 block of North State Street. Police said that after the delivery, the driver was approached by three male suspects. One of the suspects stated he had a gun and demanded cash. 

The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled in a maroon hatchback vehicle. Police said the victim could only provide a description of the suspect who stated he had a gun. He was described as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with lettering on it and possibly in his late teens or early 20s.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous.
