Police: Man Stabbed Girlfriend's Teen Sons, 1 Boy Dies

Posted:

OXON HILL, Md. (AP)- Prince George's County police say a man stabbed his girlfriend's two teenage sons during an argument, killing one of them.

Officers called to an apartment on Audrey Lane in Oxon Hill on Monday morning found the two teens wounded. The brothers were taken to a hospital, where police say 14-year-old Keyshaun Mason died. His 18-year-old brother was treated and released.

Police say 48-year-old Sean Crawford, the live-in boyfriend of the teens' mother, was arrested at the scene and detectives believe the stabbings stemmed from an argument. Online court records show Crawford is charged with second-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and assault. He's being held without bail.

Fire department spokesman Mark Brady says a third teen was at the apartment, but she was not taken to a hospital.
