Easton Woman Arrested for Burglary

EASTON, Md.- Easton police have arrested a 20-year-old woman accused of burglarizing a home over the weekend.

According to police, Jodie Lee Blunt of Easton broke into a home on Lakeview Court in the Waylands Development on Sunday. 

Authorities said residents inside the home woke up to noises and called police after finding Blunt. When police arrived, Blunt had several stolen items in her possession. 

Blunt was taken into custody and charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary, theft under $1,000 value, malicious destruction of property under $1,000 value and disturbing the peace.

Blunt was taken before a Talbot County commissioner and held on a temporary commitment pending a hearing, according to police.
