CRISFIELD, Md.– Maryland Natural Resources Police say officers are working to connect two recent brush fires to more than a dozen others in Somerset County.

Last week, firefighters responded to two brush fires: one on Lovers Lane and another on William Maddox Road, both in Crisfield.

According to NRP spokesperson Candy Thomson, investigators are working to connect these two incidents to 13 other brush fires believed to have been deliberately set over the span of several months. So far there have been no injuries and no property damage reported in connection with the fires, Thomson said.

Thomson said that at this time, investigators have no leads and are asking for the public’s help in sharing any information that may help solve these mysterious brush fires.
