Blades Man Arrested in Drug Bust

BLADES, Del. – A 26-year-old man was arrested after a two-month investigation into illegal drug sales in Blades.

According to the Delaware State Police, the Sussex County Drug Unit, the Governor’s Task Force and the State Police Special Operations Response Team carried out a search warrant Monday at a home on the 500 block of South market Street in Blades. Police said it was learned that Junior Dorvilier, 26, was selling cocaine and heroin from his home.

During the search, police discovered 515 bags of heroin weighing about 7.725 grams, abot 15 grams of cocaine, one gram of marijuana, drug packing materials, heroin stamps, digital scale, hypodermic syringes, 90 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition, 32 rounds of .357 ammunition, .22 caliber magazine and over $600 in drug proceeds.

Dorvilier was convicted three times prior, including most recently in 2011 for possession with the intent to deliver narcotics.  

Junior Dorvilier was taken to Troop 4 where he was processed and charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, possession tier 5 heroin, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of tier 3 cocaine, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dorvilier was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $83,000 secured bond.
