PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- The post office in Princess Anne has moved again. Postal customers who went to the main post office location, saw a sign on the door, directing them to go a few blocks up the street. The temporary location is on Somerset Avenue inside of a retail space that use to be a boutique and gift shop in historic Independence Hall.

The post office had been serving customers from the back parking lot and a mobile trailer behind the main facility since this summer when the building was forced to close due to mold.

Freda Sauter, a spokeswoman for the United States Postal Service said, "Service will temporarily be at the Independence Hall location for the next six months." She said the USPS is still looking into options for the permanent post office location, which is expected to be decided by early 2016.

USPS customer Bradford Tilghman said it has been confusing keeping up with the changes and he hopes the post office will stay in downtown Princess Anne.
