OCEAN CITY, Md.– A Delaware man wanted out of Ocean View was arrested Friday in Ocean City, Md. for heroin possession and resisting arrest.

According to the Ocean City Police Department, 25-year-old Brenton Sculley of Frankford, Del. had been wanted since Nov. 17, when he drove away from Ocean View police while they were attempting to stop him. Officers said Sculley’s car flipped over during the chase, and he then ran from the scene. According to police, there were more than 300 bags of heroin at the scene.

On Friday, Ocean City police detectives learned Sculley was in the area of 110th Street. Police said that as they approached, Sculley fled but was caught in the area of 11400 Coastal Highway. Police said that during the arrest, detectives seized more than 40 bags of heroin.

Sculley was charged by Ocean City police with possession of heroin and resisting arrest. In addition, Sculley had a fugitive warrant issued out of Ocean View for charges stemming from the Nov. 17 incident.

Sculley was seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and transferred to the Worcester County Jail where he was ordered held without bond.
