Police Search for Frankford Man Wanted on Burglary, Theft Charges

FRANKFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police are searching for a Frankford man wanted on burglary and theft charges. 

Troopers said 33-year-old John W. Shaw II is wanted by state police for two counts of Burglary, four counts of Theft and one count of Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card. 

State police said the Frankford man is also wanted for 11 capiases out of courts in Sussex and New Castle Counties. 

According to troopers, Shaw broke into a home in the 36000 block of Camp Barnes Rd. on or around Sept. 27. 

Troopers said Shaw took the victim's wallet, which included cash and credit cards. 

State police said Shaw was previously employed by the victim to do odd jobs around the farm. 

In another incident, troopers said Shaw returned to the home around Oct. 29, and stole a power washer. 

According to state police, Shaw is also being sought in the theft of a 68-year-old victim's wallet from a home in the 34000 block of Red Oak Drive. They said he used a credit card to make a $50.00 purchase at Harris Teeter in Selbyville.

State police said if anyone has information on Shaw's location, they should contact Troop 4 at 302-856-5850.
