Police Search for Homicide Suspect in New Castle County

BEAR, Del.- The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit is investigating a deadly shooting in Bear.

Police say it happened just before 8:30 a.m. Friday, as 41-year-old Aloysisus Taylor of Wilmington was sitting in his car in the parking lot of the American Car Wash on Pulaski Highway. 

According to police, 32-year-old Bobby Taylor, of New Castle, approached the car and fired one shot at the victim through the open car window.

Aloysisus Taylor was treated at the scene by New Castle County Paramedics and then transported to the Christiana Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
 
Police later identified Bobby Taylor as the suspect in this incident. Police say the two are not related, but both worked at the car wash. 

Detectives obtained warrants charging Bobby Taylor with Murder 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Previously Convicted of a Felony.
 
Bobby Taylor is described as being 5'09" tall, 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
