DNREC to Present Findings of Beach Bay Drainage Evaluation

MILFORD, Del. – Anyone who lives in a Delaware Beach Bay community affected by flooding may be interested in a community meeting this Wednesday.

The DNREC Drainage Program will be presenting its findings from a Coastal Drainage Engineering Evaluation on Wed., Dec. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Carlisle Fire Company in Milford.

The study examined the drainage concerns within Pickering Beach, Kitts Hummock, South Bowers, Slaughter Beach, Prime Hook Beach, Broadkill Beach and Lewes Beach.

The meeting is open to the public and will encompass both the engineering findings as well as previous input from the public.
