MAGNOLIA, Del. - Delaware State Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman who used counterfeit money at a store to get change.

Police released a surveillance photo Wednesday of a woman entering the Walgreens on Birdie Lane in Magnolia back just before 6:45 p.m. Nov. 10. Police say the woman bought three inexpensive items, then gave the clerk a counterfeit $100 bill. Police say the clerk, who didn't realize the bill was a fake, gave the woman change. The woman then left the store.

Police say the woman was described as Hispanic and last seen wearing a black jacket, a light colored blouse and carrying a black purse.

If anyone has any information in reference to this incident or the suspect depicted in the photo, they are asked to contact Corporal S. Rodrigues at (302) 698-8528. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
