BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - A police investigation is underway at Woodbridge Middle School following an an alleged incident involving two middle schoolers.

Bridgeville Police Chief Robert Longo told WBOC that right now all he can say is that two students at the middle school are reported to have been involved in alleged "inappropriate conduct" this week.

Longo said if police determine the actions were criminal, the case will be forwarded to the Delaware Attorney General's office. If not, the incident will be handled internally by the school district.

Woodbridge Assistant Superintendent Jason Cameron told WBOC school officials are also investigating the allegations and working closely with the police.
