MILLVILLE, Del. - Troopers are investigating after a man drove his SUV into a building.

Police say it happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Beebe Healthcare Rehab Services.

According to Delaware State Police George M. Hannisick, 75 of Ocean View, was driving in the parking lot when his foot  slipped off the brake as he was beginning to park and stepped on the gas pedal.

Police say Hannisick was not injured, but was transported by EMS to Beebe Healthcare in Lewes for observation.  He was cited for Inattentive Driving.

The Sussex County Technical Rescue Team responded to the incident in order to secure the building and inspect the structural integrity.

Police say no one inside the building was injured in the crash and the building was evacuated.
