Woman Robbed in the Parking Lot of the Centre at Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury Police are investigating a robbery and assault that happened in the parking lot of the Centre at Salisbury.

Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to the parking lot just outside the food court.

Police say two suspects approached a 56-year-old woman as she was getting into her car. According to police, the first suspect then pushed the woman, causing her to fall to the ground. Police say that suspect then held the woman to the ground while the second suspect got stole the woman's purse from her car.

Police say the woman was not injured and did not require medical attention.

Suspect #1 was described as a black male, dark complexion, 18-22 years of age, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black winter style hat, dark jeans, and approximately 6'00" tall. 

Suspect #2 was described as having a light complexion, 18-19 years of age, 5'09" with braids in his hair.
