MILFORD, Del.- Airpark Plaza on the 900 block of North DuPont Highway in Milford has been reopened following a bomb threat that was called in late Thursday morning.

Milford police said that just before 11 a.m. an anonymous caller contacted a business in the shopping center and claimed there was a bomb on the roof. The building was evacuated by police, with the parking lot also being closed.

Delaware State Police Aviation checked the property by air, followed by Carlisle Fire Company Personnel checking the roof with several of its members.  The property was then checked by K-9 officers from Delaware Capitol Police and Delaware State Police.

Authorities said that after the search, the property was deemed safe and reopened.

Milford police continue to investigate this matter and are asking anyone with information to call (302) 422-8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
