SALISBURY, Md.- DeVage's Subs and Donuts on East Main Street in Salisbury is putting its customers on notice with a new sign. The sign reads "This Store Is Politically Incorrect."

The sign further reads, "We say Merry Christmas, God Bless America, we salute our flag and give thanks to our troops, police officers and fire fighters. If this offends you, you are welcome to leave. In God We Trust."

Owner, Ryan DeVage said he saw the sign idea on FaceboOK and thought it had an important message. "I saw it on FaceboOK, probably a month ago maybe. A guy at a bakery in Ohio put one on his front window, and I thought it was a great idea so I showed dad the picture and he said lets see if we can get one made."

His father, Craig DeVage said the sign represents their values and beliefs, and is not meant to be controversial, but to show people you can have your own beliefs while being respectful of others.

James Morrill saw the sign through social media and said, "Everybody's worried about offending everybody. What about the people that are offended by people that want the sign down. That sign belongs, that's what this country was founded on. You don't like it, you're welcome to leave."

Ryan and Craig acknowledged, everyone may not like the sign or have the same beliefs and that's OK; their business is still welcomed and they can agree to disagree. The sign has been posted to the owners Facebook page since Monday and has more than 500 likes and several messages of support.
