BERLIN, Md.- There's a lot of buzz around the growing popularity of drones. Safety concerns and several recent events are forcing tighter rules and regulations on flying the unmanned aircraft. Assateague National Park recently implemented a policy banning the flying of drones in the park.

Assateague National Park's policy prohibits the launching, landing or operating of drones from land or on waters in the park. There is a lot of debate around the limitations on drones. Justin Martin flies commercial and recreational drones and said he can see why they started the ban.

" I think they're probably a good thing because there's definitely ways for people to get hurt using them, or in Assateague's case wildlife could get hurt or even killed flying them; so I personally think that it's a good thing," Justin said.

Justin said people opposed to the regulation of drones main concerns focus around how far the limitations will go. F.A.A regulations now require all drone owners to register them or face penalties.
